Ohhhhh its beeen so long! Sorry everyone, as soon as I get back from Japan with a tenderised immune system, I get hit with all the robust germs of the western world -Why cant we all wear where face masks when we are sick like the Japanese???? - Anyways yes of course, I got sick, real sick. After a couple of courses of antibiotics and many days and nights restricted to my quarantined lounge room, I am starting to see the light again. I am also starting to see the piles of work that have been growing during my absence, eeek! For some reason though, although I have heaps to do I'm not really getting cracking on any of it in any sort of a hurry, and I'm ok with that. This is probably because If I begin to allow even the slightest of feeling of stress I feel my glands start to swell up in preparation for another attack ! So although I'm not sure how it's all gonna come together, I have faith that it will. It's like this Marni collection, from the outside, this could easily be perceived as a big mess, disparate themes, collisions of ideas, but somehow, perhaps by some unconscious dream logic, everything seems to have found it's place and is equally proportionate to every other striking element. So if I can take anything lesson wise from this collection (which I will because I can't afford to take any of the clothes from this collection), it's that you can allow extremes from either end, as long as in the end you find some sort of balance.
